Abundance Farms

Abundance Farms brings people together by nurturing the land and nourishing each other. Introducing youth groups and adults to the process of farming and getting the food to the people. By cultivating a number of spaces in Ulster County, NY, Abundance Farms grows food without pesticides, free of charge for the BIPOC community. They deliver food through CSA shares, Farmers Markets, and in partnership with True Foods. They are most active in the growing seasons and appreciate volunteers as well as fiscal support.

Tiny Home Support

Most of us wish there were out there making the world a better place and for whatever reason, we are not devoting as much time and energy as we would like. We want to support those people out there who are making the world a better place, free from lobbyists, corporations, and the demands of the capitalist hamster wheel required to exist with outrageous rents, damming mortgages, and the consumerism that comes as mitigation of shackled souls.

We have found just such people, please scroll down to see and learn about them. While we are not set up to support them with the salaries they are worthy of, our goal is to at least provide free housing.

Enter the 34Ft double loft tiny house. A small environmental impact that allows for location preference of nature, community, and or farm footprint. This home comes decked out with all the extras and costs $67,000. We are well underway to paying for this beautiful beast. If you believe in this project or in the people living in it, please contribute.

About the Lives this Tiny House Supports

In the midst of simplifying, downsizing and extracting from the corporate world.. A couple discovered that a little human was also on the way.
Christian, Michaela and Sacha embarked on a journey with the guidance of love, courage, ancestry, child medicine, stewardship and sharing. The latter being the fuel for manifestation. Hopping from tiny homestead room, tinier micro home educational stewardship and schlepping from friends homes over the last 3 years.. They befriended many beautiful reflections. All sharing valuable experiences, skills, resources and more.
Christian honed in on connection to the elements through stewardship and the sacredness of language justice through interpretation and translation. All the while being Tayta (father): he who is famous for climbing trees and being completely in tune with his child essence with Sacha and other children in the community.
Michaela revolves around sourcing food, cooking and processing to nourish the community she builds with. Inspiration comes from wastestreams, local farms and gardens, and curating a unique experience of radical sharing. Being a mother has come naturally; challenges from social norms, how to parent and how to educate them ourselves has always been the driving force to pave a path and trust the process.
Sacha is a Spanish first speaking toddler, who loves to cook with Mami Mica (Michaela), get dirty in the garden, play with pretend swords, scamper local streams and bring smiles through sharing. Michaela and Christian wholeheartedly believe the child medicine that Sacha embodies brought them all to be where they are now: closer to the land and each other.
Generosity and abundance opens doors and nourishes the spirit. Through the work Christian, Michaela and Sacha do and are in the community in and around Saugerties and Kingston, Connective Healing recognized the effect that the housing crisis had in finding the next place for them. With huge hearts and intuition as the compass, Connective Healing was able to provide a home for Christian, Michaela, and Sacha through the network of resources they have and are continuing to grow. Donors can make stories like this possible; we are proud to be co-creating this reality together to bridge the gap between accessibility and sovereignty.
